After graduating from college with a degree in Business Administration, Dick joined the Marine Corps and became a Naval Flight Officer. After serving a tour in Vietnam with over 285 combat missions in F-4 fighters, Dick left the Marines as a Captain in 1971 and began his career in the financial services industry. In 1985, his entrepreneurial spirit saw the overwhelming need to assist individuals who were facing retirement and formed Strategic Advisory Services, LLC, a Wealth Management firm specializing in retirement income planning. Dick has held the designation of Certified Financial Planner® since 1989, and has been a member in good standing of both the local and national Financial Planning Association since 1983.
 
​On a personal side, Dick has been married since 1982 to his wife and business partner Suzi. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, playing golf, and they live in Sugar Land, TX, a suburb of Houston, TX.

Suzi is the Vice President and co-founder of Strategic Advisory Services, LLC. She and her husband, Dick, established SAS LLC in 1985 and she has played an integral part in the development of the company. Her main focus in the organization is office management and in the business operations of the company.

On a personal note, Suzi enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves playing golf, entertaining, and traveling with her husband and business partner, Dick. When she is not in the office, she is active and on the Board of Sugar Creek Country Club’s Women’s Association.

Jeremy, a Certified Financial Planner® practitioner and Senior Wealth Advisor, provides comprehensive and goals driven financial planning and investment management advice. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 2006, with a Bachelor of Science in Personal Financial Planning.

Jeremy came to SAS LLC with work experience from United Capital Financial Advisors, A.G. Edwards, and Ronald Blue and Co. In addition to being a Senior Wealth Advisor to clients, Jeremy is also Vice President of Operations and Chief Compliance Officer of Strategic Advisory Services, LLC.

Jeremy’s hobbies include hunting, fishing, and mountain biking. He lives with his wife, Julia, their daughters Isabella (Izzie), Alexandra (Allie), and Madison (Maddie), and their adopted dogs, Sadie an Dakota.

Pam joined Strategic Advisory Services, LLC in 2000 and is our most tenured employee. She is SAS LLC’s Director of First Impressions, and came to work for the firm after retiring from AT&T, where she worked as a manager for 34 years. As Director of First Impressions, Pam will be there to assist you with any need when you arrive at our office. She will greet you with a warm smile and pleasant conversation.​

Pam has been a long time resident of Houston and our clients say she has the friendliest voice in town. Pam’s favorite pastimes include reading, watching movies, listening to audio books, shopping, and spending time with friends.

Growing up in Las Vegas, NV, Melissa decided to join the military right after high school. She served in the U.S. Army for 6 years, where she spent most of her time in Fort Riley, KS, but also completed a tour to Afghanistan and a rotation to South Korea. After her service, Melissa returned to Las Vegas where she began her transition to civilian employment and gained a variety of experiences within the administrative field. By the end of 2019, she made the decision to move to Houston, TX in hopes of establishing a better lifestyle for her and her kids, which ultimately brought her here in January 2020. After first working within different areas of a meat warehouse, she realized it was time to seek more of a career path instead of “just another job.” This ultimately lead her here to SAS, LLC, where she is hoping to build a long-lasting career.

During her spare time, Melissa loves to spend time with her 3 kids, DJ, Dawson, and April, either at home or exploring the outdoors/Houston area. She also attempts to make as many trips to Las Vegas as possible to visit family.
